The ΛΑΓΩΟΣ team is delighted to welcome Dr. Chiara Telesca to Innsbruck to begin her work as a postdoctoral researcher. Chiara is the fourth and final addition to our group dedicated to the secret diaries of K. B. Hase.
An expert in Late Antique and Byzantine philology, Chiara’s work has concentrated on the rhetorical tradition of these periods, the School of Gaza, and on the history of classical scholarship.
Chiara’s work within the LAGOOS project, will be centred around annotating and tagging Hase’s diary, as well as conducting research on Hase’s role in the history of 19th-century Classical studies.
